Tom Martin

This is easily one of the silliest things I've ever shot. All the clothing in this series were made by my amazingly talented friend Lindsey James for her Violet Flamingo Bespoke brand. Lindsey is always looking for original ways to shoot her pieces and happy to let me indulge in my obsession with the small northern towns around the area I grew up in in the late 90s/early 00s. So here we are in Littleborough, Rochdale with no fancy set-ups, no proper lighting, just "Martin Parring" it with horrible on-body flash and no plans at all other than to go out and cause trouble and hopefully get some, erm, unique photos of Lindsey's beautiful dresses. Thanks to our performer/actor/artiste Gemma Daubney for being a big crazy show off and Louise Rielly for hair design and Chloe Louise Gorton for make-up. We had a ridiculously fun time shooting this; I wish I could just do this everyday.
