It was really nice to catch up with a few bands I've worked with recently at this. The Maccabees for one, love these guys a lot.
Kaiser Chiefs headlined, here's Ricky swimming in the crowd.
It was also really good to catch up with Tribes too. Lovely, lovely people, always a lot of fun. They'd just come fresh of the plane from L.A to play this and had been awake for a couple of days. Thats probably why Dan (left) looks like he's traveling back in time in his mind. Have to say quick thanks to Johnny for my present too!
It's always a bit weird photographing radio. Here are the Maccs on air with XFM presenter Eoghan McDermott.
Here they are on stage...
Here's a hat that Orlando drew on the signing board
Here's Felix and Hugo signing things.
And more interviews.
Eoghan with We Are Augustines...
Tribes on Air...
These guys were soooo tired...
Balloons!
The Manic Street Preachers' James Dean Bradfield being interviewed by Steve Harris.
He played a secret solo set before the Kaisers went on and was also presented with the XFM Inspiration award.
And here's Ricky and Simon from Kaiser Chiefs being interviewed before they play.
Lots of antics during KC set.
And here they are fresh off stage with XFM presenter John Kennedy.
And heres a team photo with all the XFM staff and presenters! Busy busy day. You can see all the pics and videos from the night HERE.
